By accessing or using Actua at actua.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. Actua is operated by Evolvion, an Australian business.
Actua is an AI-powered actuarial learning and calculation platform. It provides tools for exam preparation (CT, CM, CS series), deterministic actuarial calculations, and reference material for practising actuaries working with IFRS 17, Solvency II, and reserving methodologies.
Actua is an educational and calculation tool only. It is not a substitute for qualified actuarial advice, professional judgement, or official exam preparation materials. Actua does not guarantee exam results, and calculations should be independently verified before use in any professional or regulatory context.
You may use Actua without an account (limited to 5 queries per day). Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
Actua Pro is available at $29 AUD per month, billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. If payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the free tier until the billing issue is resolved.
Actua is designed for individual human use. Automated scraping, bulk querying via scripts or bots, reselling access, or any use that places unreasonable load on the service is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.
The Actua platform, its design, code, and calculation engine are the property of Evolvion. Content you generate through the platform (your queries and the resulting responses) may be used by you for personal and educational purposes. You retain ownership of any exam images you upload.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Evolvion is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Actua. This includes, without limitation, any errors in calculations, exam results, or reliance on AI-generated content.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Actua at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of Actua after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
